My parents house is located in Manila, about 15 minutes to Makati Central Business District. It's basically easy to go to Mandaluyong, Ortigas, and obviously Manila. Going to Quezon City would not be a problem because once you are at Taft Ave you can take any public vehicles enroute to Quezon City. So if you do not have a car, my place is perfect because there are many ways to get in and out.
The main house has 4 rooms including 1 big room downstairs. This big room is about 40 square meters and 3 people can share the room comfortably. It has its own toilet and bathroom with hot and cold shower. It is a fully furnished room with a small refrigerate, TV with cable connection, an ante room, and 2 beds, 1 twin bed and 1 single bed, and an air conditioner. Besides this room we have a theater entertainment room with a big LCD screen and all the perks of a home theater. It has 3 lazy boys and a bar and more furniture to enjoy watching movies or simply read and relax after a hard day's touring. There are tons of movies you can watch.
I occupy the master's bedroom. Since my parents passed away I've asked our helper to move to the room near my room and free up the servants quarter near the kitchen. Our helper's youngest son who is in his fourth year of high school stays with us. That makes us only 3 people. There is another room upstairs which my brothers occupy when they come to visit or when they have business trips here in Manila. There is also a mini library upstairs. Part of my book collection is on the shelves and there is a table and chairs.

The main dining room has a round table that can sit 8 people and the receiving room is also spacious. The main house is going through renovation and the work is being done by section. We've decided to change the look of the house since my parents passing away. Just too many happy memories our family shared in this house.
The kitchen is the typical American Kitchen. One brother has been living in New York for over 2 decades now. He's got 3 children, all grown up. My other brother is settled in Vancouver with his wife and 2 kids. I am not married and have no kids.
At the back of the house is an extension which was where my younger brother used to stay before moving his family to Vancouver. I had renovated it and have been renting it out since last year. I am very particular about the people I share my home with and it took me sometime to get a family I could welcome in my brother's place. In the house extension, there are 3 kids with parents and 2 house helpers. The only things we share with the other house are the house annex and the entrance.
There is a driveway which can park 2 cars. I had a small office built near the driveway. The office is still in progress in terms of interior furnishings. I was looking to make a small office for myself but now I am thinking of converting it into a study area. It has an air conditioner so I just need to bring in 2 computers and get an internet connection.
I've learned to prepare food when my mom died so its basically a healthy diet that we have in my house. All natural as we avoid processed food as much as possible. The weekly menu is mostly fish, chicken and vegetables. Dairy is skim milk and lots of coffee, something i can't resist, COFFEE.
I can share my home with you and take care of you like my own family. Please contact Manila English and tell them you want to stay with me. I look forward to meeting you.
Ms. C. Intal.
